How Wonderful HE Is!

Today at school we had a program in honor of Black History Month. A group of children from Uganda, Africa came and performed for us and they were AMAZING! All of the children are from an orphanage in Africa and are part of a group called "Ugandan Thunder". The group is currently on a tour across the Southeast United States and I feel so fortuanate that I was able to see them while they were here. Most of the songs that they sing are about Jesus Christ and the many wonderful things that He has done for us. I can't think of a better way to be reminded of how wonderful our Savior truely is than from these precious children. At the end of the program each child introduced themselves and said one thing that they liked about America...most of the responses were about certain foods they enjoyed but one child said that he enjoyed being able to ride bicycles. When the leader of the group told all of us that none of these children had bicycles at home in Africa it made you step back and think for a second at how fortunate so many of us are. While we take so many things for granted it is easy for us to forget about what is most important in our lives and this group of children reminded me of that today...that no matter what may happen or where you may be Jesus Christ is always there for us and He cares for us deeply. Below there is a video of Ugandan Thunder from you tube that gives you a preview of what we got to enjoy today at AES.
